Look out for an interesting interview with researcher Prof Gilles-Eric Seralini. Jeffrey Smith, author of the books Seeds of Deception and Genetic Roulette, is one of the best communicators on GM food safety - or the lack of it. His trilogy of films on the topic are all worth watching and provide a great introduction to the subject for friends, educators, and decision-makers. Here’s a review of the set, under its alternative title, Hidden dangers in kids' meals.
The biotech industry's claim that genetically modified (GM) foods are safe is shattered in this lecture, which is for anyone wanting to understand GM technology, to learn how to protect themselves, or to share their concerns with others.
The dangers of glyphosate (Roundup) in our food supply are clear and present. Why are industry and government not acting as they should? Just as was the case in the 1950s with DDT and tobacco, we are on the brink of disastrous damage to health worldwide. This short film begins to explain why, and what we can do. (Time 9:51)
Glyphosate is the world’s most widely used weed killer. Some claim it is completely harmless, others say it is a serious health hazard for man and animals. A topical investigation into a controversial substance.
Ray Seidler, former Senior Scientist at the EPA, wrote the Biosafety Plan. He gave presentations during the 2013 Jackson County Measure 15-119 campaign to ban GMO crops in the Rouge Valley.
Excellent short German documentary, with English subtitles, about the effects of glyphosate-tolerant GM soy cultivation in South America and the import of GM soy animal feed into Europe. Includes interviews with researchers, Prof Andres Carrasco, and Prof Gilles-Eric Seralini. (Time: 7:51)
Birke Baehr, aged 11, gives an inspiring, persuasive and coherent TED talk on what is wrong with our food system and how we can make a difference and change it. (Time 5:22)
That a former Monsanto scientist should find himself in charge of a specially-created post at the very journal that published two landmark studies questioning the safety of that company's products should surprise no one who is aware of the Monsanto revolving door.
International best-selling author Jeffrey M Smith (Seeds of Deception, GMO Trilogy, and Genetic Roulette) joins Alex Bogusky and his father Bill for a sobering conversation about America's food supply. What regulations are in place to protect you and your family? The answers may shock you and hopefully make you rethink your choices as a consumer. (Time: 54:49)
This explosive exposé reveals what the biotech industry doesn't want you to know – how industry manipulation and political collusion, not sound science, allow dangerous genetically engineered food into your daily diet. Company research is rigged, alarming evidence of health dangers is covered up, and intense political pressure applied. (Total time: 1:50:13)
French researchers' secret two-years study of 200 rats fed with transgenic maize. Rats formed large tumors and suffered premature death and organ damage when given levels of GMO feed claimed to be safe by EU regulatory authorities. A bomb for the GMO industry. (Time: 12.50)
In this interview, Jeffrey Smith, author of the bestseller Seeds of Deception, explains how genetically modified foods cause health problems, and their potential for creating a vast array of unforeseen and surprising illnesses. (Total time 44:58)
The potential threats of CSIRO's GM Wheat are dicussed by Safe Food Foundation Director, Scott Kinnear, University of Canterbury Professor, Jack Heinemann, and Flinders University Professor, Judy Carman. (Time: 4:21)
This is an interview with Prof. Gilles-Eric Séralini, the leader of the research team from the Committee of Independent Research and Information on Genetic Engineering (CRIIGEN) and the Universities of Caen and Rouen which obtained Monsanto's confidential raw data of its 2002 feeding trials on rats, after a European court made it public in 2005. The data "clearly underlines adverse impacts on kidneys and liver, the dietary detoxifying organs, as well as different levels of damages to heart, adrenal glands, spleen and haematopoietic system," reported Prof. Séralini, a molecular biologist at the University of Caen. Their December 2009 study appeared in the International Journal of Biological Sciences (IJBS). (Time: 9:38)
How can we be sure our food is safe? Environmental attorney Andrew Kimbrell and natural-food advocates Benedikt Haerlin and Helen Holder discuss major threats to the world's food supply, from bioterrorism to the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), in the third session of the conference The Future of Food: Transatlantic Perspectives. (Time: 1:40:03)
"The Idiot Cycle": The companies that make cancer treatment pharmaceuticals also make the chemicals that cause cancer. Now they also make GMOs and cover up the health risks. Feature length documentary produced by Emmanuelle Schick Garcia and Laila Tahhar. Website: www.theidiotcycle.com (Time: 3:17)

Are there health risk with GMOs? Are GMOs Good or Bad? How corporations are influencing our food supply. (Time: 11:25)
A new video of Andres Carrasco, professor of Molecular Embryology Laboratory at University of Buenos Aires, talking about his research showing birth defects cause by glyphosate, present in Roundup Ready Soy. (Time: 37.23)
By now most people know that GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organisms. But how do GMOs affect us, the food we eat, and the environment? Jeffrey Smith, founder of the Institute for Responsible Technology provides a solid general overview in this interview. More Smith videos here. (Time: 44:10)
A former Monsanto employee, Kirk Azevedo, came forward for an interview with Food Nation Radio Network to give our listeners insight into how Monsanto does business. During the time he was employed there with some of the best minds in the biotech industry, he became alarmed by some of the practices Monsanto used to test new GMO crops, how those crops were disposed of after testing, and more. (Time: 7:09)
A lecture by Jeffrey Smith, in which he summarizes the contents of his book, Seeds of Deception. It's not only informative, but amusing. More Smith videos here. (Time: 10:09)
On 17 January 2011, internationally recognised plant pathologist Dr. Don Huber, wrote a letter to USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack warning of the discovery of a new pathogen and a possible link between Roundup Ready (GMO) corn and soybeans and severe reproductive problems in livestock as well as widespread crop failure. Less than 3 weeks later, the Obama administration approved 2 new Roundup Ready® GMO crops, set to be planted this spring. (Time: 19:51)
Press conference by Greenpeace and CRIIGEN in Berlin on March 13, 2007 on the risks involved in the feeding of Monsanto's GM maize MON863.
