From Friends of the Earth:

Please take a few minutes to respond by 5 June, and demand our seeds are kept GM free!

The argument about whether there should be thresholds for GM contamination in seeds, and if so at what levels, has been raging in Europe for years. After a long period of silence, the European Commission has snuck out an online consultation, with no publicity and a very short deadline.

The consultation is mainly multiple choice, but the questions are very ambiguous and in some cases misleading. Friends of the Earth and GM Freeze have put together a short guide to help people respond at: http://www.foe.co.uk/resource/action_guides/gm_seeds_action.pdf.

A number of organisations have also formally complained about this consultation and are demanding a fully inclusive process and detailed information about how this consultation fits in to any decisions being made on seed thesholds. See: http://www.saveourseeds.org/en/frame.php?page=consultation

many thanks
