Thirty French activists held for destroying GM-corn

PITHIVIERS, France - Franciska Soler, spokeswoman for the group Loiret without GMOs, was cited as saying around 30 activists were being held by French police Monday for having destroyed two fields of genetically modified corn, adding, "Around thirty activists were detained at the police station in Pithiviers."
Soler was further cited as saying the group had destroyed GM corn crops in the central France villages of Villereau and Santilly.
