New Crops have come and gone from the Manitoba Landscape. It looks like it soybeans be an option available for a long time to come. Horizon Agro from Morris, MB along with Thomson Grain based in Ontario have been developing excellent marketing options for Manitoba based producers for over two years. Premiums are the normal with the world looking for a reliable supply of Non GMO Soybeans. It's a case of if we grow them, they will come. The sky in the limit. Genetics in soybeans offer early enough maturity to grow successfully in most region of the Red River Valley. Agri Tel Grain's Accord Bean is one Horizon has an IP Program on. Accord have been used in the Non GMO crush market for several years now.
