Wivenhoe GM crop pullers in High Court Judicial Review

Last July eleven local people (Andy Abbott, Ken & Edie Butcher, Andrew Curtis, Dave Isaacson, Julie Moore, Tracy Osben, Lynn & Sarah Priest, Dean Scott and Nikki Shilaker) were arrested and charged with criminal damage after decontaminating Aventis GM fodder maize in Wivenhoe, Essex.   The case was assigned to a Magistrate's Court which means they will not get a jury trial (Greenpeace were acquitted by a jury for a similar action).

They are seeking to overthrow this decision and have been granted a Judicial Review to be heard in the High Court.  Please support them at the Royal Courts of Justice, The Strand, London on 15 February (phone below to check date).  They will not proceed towards a trial until this matter has been resolved.
