Support Earth Hour -- Saturday 28 February 2009
It is WWF's prominence and credibility as an environmental organisation that makes their continued cooperation with Monsanto and Syngenta and the multinational grain processing companies involved in the RTRS disastrous, in terms of giving credibility to the greenwashing of GM soy - see:
So please support Earth Hour, and please keep the pressure up on WWF to stop their RTRS involvement. Effective action on climate change and GM crops are both vital for the future of the planet.
This is a great opportunity to support a mass campaing setting a sign that the public cares about climate change. Please pass this on to ALL your contacts, friends and families.
On Saturday 28 March 2009 at 8.30pm (UK time), people, businesses and iconic buildings around the world will switch off their lights for one hour - Earth Hour.

The aim is to get a billion people around the world to sign up to show they care about people, wildlife and the planet and want world leaders to take action to tackle climate change.

Campaigning for a global deal
This event is intended to help convince all governments to agree effective action to tackle climate change. December's UN climate summit in Copenhagen, is their last chance to get it right, so we need to ensure they know that we care.
Climate change is one of the most serious threats to people and wildlife. Unless we prevent global temperatures rising 2°C above pre-industrial levels we face a high risk of severe and irreversible changes in the planet's natural systems. Earth Hour is our opportunity to take positive action.
How you can help
Local groups and networks have a vital role to play in showing support for action on climate change in their area.
