DENNIS AVERY IN LONDON FOR PRO-GM FEST

We understand the organisers of the World Food and Farming conference at Olympia on 25th and 26th November have belatedly been persuaded to include a couple of additional speakers in their line up to balance up an otherwise ferociously pro-GM event that includes Dennis Avery, Ben Gill, Per Pinstrup Andersen, Lord Selborne, Lord Plumb and Margaret Karembu.

more details at http://www.wffc.co.uk/

"Overview: An international congress launching in London this year will examine the challenges, debate the effect and predict the impact on the future of world food, agriculture and trade."

On the Tuesday afternoon there is an event with a fig leaf of balance c/o Tewolde Egziabher:

THE CONFLICT BETWEEN THE AFFLUENT CONSUMER AND THE NEED OF THE MAJORITY
