Anyone who's inhaled on all the lies, slander and spin of the last 12 months will know it's been another breathtaking year for biotech hype.

And it's high time once again for recognition to be given to those who have been busy burning a place in the history books!

We'll shortly be presenting the GM WATCH end of year report - a guide to the smelters of the choicest lies, disinformation, PR chicanery and unfounded abuse.

And, of course, the winners of the hottest competition in town will be acknowledged with the coveted ***PANTS ON FIRE AWARD*** - blazing undergarments made from the finest GM cotton[Enjoy them here: http://ngin.tripod.com/pants.htm ]

With so many deserving candidates, the choice won't be easy but we'll be featuring some of the most experienced and least principled practitioners in the business.

And this year we'll be including a special "New Pants on the Block" award - aimed at 2003's smelliest newcomers. Don't choke on that smoke!!!
