Monsanto Co., the world’s biggest seed company, will cut premiums on SmartStax corn seed by 67 percent versus 2010 prices and by 75 percent for Roundup Ready 2 Yield soybean seed, JPMorgan Chase & Co. said today in a report.

Monsanto previously said it would reduce the premiums by about half for the 2011 season. The pricing details were disclosed to analysts and investors yesterday in an event closed to the media.
